General Notes
40 years ago in March 1984 Chris led one of the first Sherwood group walks which was in this area supported by a contingent of High Peak members including the late Tom Baker, Carmel Baker and Alec Horne. Chris remembers heavy rain at the start which gave way to ice cold gusts & clear blue skies. Hopefully, forty-years later we will keep the blue skies as a weather event but this time with warming rays of sunshine!
