From Moss Bank Park ascending Winter Hill. Morning break at the top (4 miles). Drop down into Belmont with a lunch stop by the Reservoirs (7 miles). Continuing to Smithills Country Park. We will have a brew/ice cream stop at Smithills Open Farm (I can recommend the honeycomb flavour) before returning to Moss Bank Park. Please bring your own food and drink for morning break and lunch. Brews/ice creams can be purchased at the farm shop.
Please be aware, due to various footpath works, there may be a need to alter the planned route on the day. This should not alter the advertised distance by more than half a mile
