This is an anytime challenge event and as such no en-route support will be provided. Set in pleasant rural scenery and close to, but away from, the hustle and bustle of the Lake District and the busier Dales, Barbon is situated in the Lune Valley, some 3 miles north of the historic town of Kirkby Lonsdale and close to the point where Barbon Beck joins the River Lune. All entrants are expected to walk the route at a time of their choosing, between the 10th July and 29th August, following the route description and maps provided. The event is entirely unsupported and there will be no marshals on the route. Both routes reach heights of 2,000ft. Fell walking experience & navigational skills essential. All entrants must carry food and drink, waterproofs, maps, route description, compass, whistle and first aid kit. Entry by SiEntries
