North on A6 past Garstang, pass the turning to Scorton on your right and park on Woodfold Lane, on the right of A6 just before the lane entrance to Claylands Caravan Park. PR3 1AJ

Walking out over Nicky Nook to Grizedale Bridge and working our way back past reservoirs, woods, farmland and optional tea/ice-cream stop close to the start point

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
