Car park of Sizergh Castle, LA8 8DZ. SD499872. The car park is National Trust (pay and display) so if anyone is a NT member please ensure to bring their membership card. There is free parking available along the road leading to the castle in the area of the Strickland Arms. The walk will take in sections of the River Kent, a disused section of the Lancaster Canal and Levens Deer Park. There are very few stiles along the route and there are no issues for dogs, though of course they will have to be on a lead at all times.
