Nine of us set off in the snow for a reprise of a walk that Huw led in March 2018. On that occasion, the snow was even worse, and only three of us turned up.The route took us through Bagnor and Boxford before crossing the M4 to World's End and back to Hermitage, Curridge and the fringes of Newbury. The final stretch allowed a photo opportunity at Donnington Castle.
Most of the paths had already been used, so the snow was not too big a hindrance; occasionally a trail-breaker was required to make headway through a shin-deep white blanket.
