Another Stroll From Shefford

I’ve decided to shorten Thursday’s walk from 16 to 14.3 miles in view of the forecast of 30 degrees+. There is also the possibility of an 11 mile (total) route via a short cut about 1 mile after the lunch stop (which is at 7.4 miles) by road walking to Southill and across the fields back to Shefford, this would have to be self guided but I can provide a map. The lunch stop is in Old Warden village, there is a pub, the Hare and Hounds, which will be open and ok for drinks (Charles Wells beer I think) – but it’s a ‘foody’ pub, I’m not sure they serve snack type food or would be able to get food out in our timeslot.
