John's memorial walk from Ashridge, ably organised by his wife Judy, was attended by about 80 people, who walked all or part of the Ashridge Boundary in three different groups which crossed paths occasionally during the day. After initial mist, the sun came out in the afternoon and gave us all a walk to remember. At the end, when the groups all got back within about 30 minutes of each other, we were supplied with cake and soft drinks whilst talking about the day.A note from Judy Nickerson. I would just like to say how pleased I was that so many people attended John’s memorial walk. He would have been thrilled and humbled by the response and I’m sure he would have been looking down on us. Thank you all for coming.
