From Trehafod we climb to the upper flanks of Mynydd y Glyn to head over to Trebanog, Ton Pentre and Ferndale, an ascent of Tylers town coal tip to descend back to Trehafod

Leave A470 at Pontypridd and follow the signs for the Rhondda valleys. 0.75ml after Hopkinstown, L into Trehafod village. Maps Exp 166
