Gary, the leader, had managed to come up with a route with nearly 2700 feet of ascent in 15.1 miles yet still avoiding the climbs of Almshill Wood at Stonor, the short steep hill between Dolesden Lane and Turville Court, and on the return, Cobstone Hill and Hanger Hill. He also pointed out that the route was completely stile-free.
I don't think it could have been much more scenic though.
