Meet 09.21 Box Hill and West Humble stn (take 8.31 from London Victoria). Alternatively drivers can park in Rykas free c.p. between the Mercure Burford Bridge Hotel and the A24 [TQ171520], nearest post code RH5 6BX
A figure of eight with a hilly walk in the morning following the Box Hill Hike (9.5miles). Lunch at the Stepping Stones PH followed by a walk (10.5 miles) to Norfolk Park, an afternoon stop at Polesden Lacy, returning via Ranmore Common and Denbies Vineyard

Box Hill Hike and Ranmore Ramble, Saturday 13th August 201624 walkers, 20 miles - leader Chris Dent
Around 24 started the hike, but some dropped out en route and we finished with about 19. I don't vouch for those being accurate numbers, though they're about right. I remember a conversation at the end that there were five dropouts (again, I think it was five) with one wag saying it always happens on Chris's walks. That wag, a certain Mr Christopher Dent, added that they'd spoken to him about their plans before the group set off.
