From Trehafod Community Village Hall, Trehafod, CF37 4NF

A visually spectacular spring walk of 26.5ml with 5000ft ascent in the famous Rhondda valleys of South Wales. Views of the Brecon Beacons, the South Wales Valleys, Exmoor and the Gower will be experienced on the route that will take walkers to Mynydd Y Glyn, Mynydd William Meyrick, The Bwlch and Llanwonno. This event is organised by the South Wales group of the Long Distance Walkers Association and is open to non-LDWA members

General Notes
To access the event venue follow the A4058 from Pontypridd. 500 metres after leaving Hopkinstown, turn left over narrow bridge into Barry Sidings Countryside Park (signposted with small brown signs) where there will be ample parking available. The c.p. is at GR ST054908. Please do not park elsewhere in the village. Trehafod Community Village Hall is 600m from the c.p. Bus & train services available. All entrants to bring a mug. SEF accepted or enter online. Organised by South Wales Group. The route description & GPX files will be available for download from the South Wales LDWA website from March 2016. We regret that due to the fact that the Rhondda Hills are sheep country and because lambing will be well under way, dogs are not permitted on the event. NO ENTRIES OTD. MAXIMUM 280 ENTRIES
