Walk Report

Heathrow to Twickenham, Wednesday 29th July 2015
4 walkers, 7 miles - leader Chris Hedley
There were only three of us (plus Christopher). However, we had a really good and enjoyable walk. The group inspected a 200 year old shot tower, a disused sewage farm which is now the graffiti capital of West London, a 300m tunnel underneath the old Feltham marshalling yard, a rich history of industrial archaeology with many relics of the gunpowder industry and a very pretty five mile section of riverside complete with too much Himalayan Balsam.
