Walk Report

Get Into the Picture, Saturday 25th July 2015
10 walkers, 16 miles - leader Susanne Waldschmidt
Ten lucky walkers missed the horrible rain on Friday and Sunday and squeezed in a beautiful and relaxing walk on Saturday with not a drop of rain.
The general consensus was that we had plenty of time to appreciate the sites where Constable had painted while also getting a good walk in. Lunch was enjoyed with Gerry the cat, the custodian of Langham church, and we also fitted in a pub stop. The icing on the cake (literally) was a fete in Dedham Church with home-made cakes and tea / coffee all for just a pound. We could study the single Constable painting (not his best) in the Church at leisure while we scoffed our refreshment.
