Start Green Park tube
7ml walk to Tower Hill tube. We will walk through London parks encircling the Serpentine and the Round pond, go along Whitehall then amble along the Embankment for an optional Wetherspoons curry at the Liberty Bounds on Tower Square. http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/home/pubs/the-liberty-bounds

This will be 2½ hours of easy walking through tourist London taking in Royal Parks, Peter Pan, Princess Diana's fountain, the Lido toilet(!), Buckingham Palace, pelicans, Big Ben, the Tower of London and of course Wetherspoons

Green Park to Tower Hill, Thursday 28th May 201513 walkers, 8 miles - leader Peter Russell
The Royal parks and Thames Embankment had much to look at on a bright evening.
The walk had 13 takers and was 8 miles without doing the loop around the round pond.
Highlights were the pelicans roosting on their rock, a zig-zag dazzle camouflage 1916 warship and, of course, a social beer and curry at Wetherspoons near the Tower of London.
