The top of Hardknott Pass. Pls do not use passing places. Second walk will require a further drive to Coniston. Hardknott Pass is off the A593 W from Ambleside, reached via Wrynose Pass
Two walks in the S Fells of the Lake District visiting the tops: Harter Fell (walk 1). Wetherlam, Black Sails, Swirl How, Great Carrs, Grey Friar, Brim Fell, The Old Man of Coniston, Dow Crag, Walna Scar & White Maiden (walk 2, strenuous)

Walk 1, 3ml 1,000' asc. Walk 2, 14ml 5,000' asc. No Pub stop. Pls note earlier start
