Route
Start Carshalton Stn (SM5 3HD; approx 30 min direct from Victoria, Blackfriars or London Bridge). Following the river from one of its sources, Carshalton Ponds, to the Thames. End at a Youngs pub close to Wandsworth Town stn. The other source of the Wandle is Waddon Ponds, 2.5ml from Carshalton - if you would like to walk that too, contact Andy - we'd need to meet at Waddon Stn (TQ611348); trains from Victoria or London Bridge, at 17.30
