Lay-by c.p. Bowes is just off the A66 Scotch Corner to Appleby road. The lay-by can be found about 200yd to the E of the cross roads in Bowes
Circular walk over the North Pennine Moors from Bowes. Visiting Citron Hill and William Gill. Returning from Tan Hill along the Pennine Way
General Notes
Please note route includes a lot of wild, off path, boggy high moorland. Previously postponed from November because of these conditions
