Meeting point - Glebe Road P&D car park, Bowness on Windermere. £7 parking fee (ouch!!), so please share transport where possible. Absolutely no free parking in the area, unless you know better! Satnav users enter postcode LA23 3HE.

PLS NOTE EARLY START DUE TO COACH TRAVEL AND LENGTH OF WALK. Coach - book by 18th August. Coach to Sedbergh leaves at 0830hrs prompt, so please don`t be late. Sorry, no dogs allowed on coach

LDWA Walks

The LDWA organises many challenge events and local group social walks, as well as listing many more organised by other organisations. Challenge events are normally between 20 and 100 miles and must generally be completed within a defined time limit. Social walks are normally led walks of around 20 miles.
