Accommodation Info
TOAD is a goods brake van used as basic camping accommodation for two or more. It has electric and gas appliances but lacks running water. The site has mains water and a chemical toilet. TADPOLE is a unique narrow gauge brake van, an annexe of TOAD designed for little people. The vans provide adequate accommodation, to which must be added their novelty value and pleasant location beside the River Teign. The area is quiet and unspoilt, yet not so far from Exeter, the county town, and the South Devon coast. The Teign marks the boundary at Christow of the Dartmoor National Park. The vans are perhaps best suited to those seeking quiet recreation, for whom East Dartmoor has much to offer, but Christow could just as well be a base for those looking for fun further afield. The vans could also be used as an unusual stopover for wayfarers or as a romantic hideaway. PLEASE CONTACT THIS HOSTEL BY PHONE OR POST.
