Thanks for your comments and glad everyone seemed to enjoy the day. No-one got lost and there were no problems at any of the checkpoints. The sweep team on the long route (me and Nigel Dean) finished at 6.00pm which is par for the course.

A fairly tough event, with a sting in the tail and you did have to watch your footing most of the time but great views and organisation.
Mind getting there and back was a bit of a trial Irish lorry traffic on the way down, fast cars with blazing headlights on the way back but still well worth the hassle on a day like this

Another full house, and another glorious day. Ground still frozen in places, but bogs still eager to gobble-up the unwary foot! Excellent checkpoints and a good stew at the finish. Thanks everyone - We'll be back! (Garfield)
