As Norman says this has happened before and it's likely we will move it to the new weekend. As we understand it, the Queen's Official Birthday will be celebrated on the Monday. The national committee will be discussing/confirming this change for the 100 next weekend.

It's happened before with the Queens Diamond Jubilee in 2002. The May Bank Holiday was moved to the 1st weekend in June and The Lakeland 100 was moved with it.

It was recently reported in the Times that the late Spring Bank Holiday will be moved to the first weekend in June, with the Tuesday thrown in as an extra day off. That being so, does that mean a break with tradition? Will the Hundred be moved along with it?
