After last years dreadful weather we were very lucky this year - fairly warm with a pleasant cooling breeze. The down side was the sodden conditions under foot, very boggy - but I guess most areas are suffering at the moment. As always, excellent organisation and superb food at check points and at the end. This years route was different to the last few years missing out the Roaches -hooray! - but still incorporating many steep inclines and hills - boo!
