This was a real gem of an event. Situated in beautiful countryside south of Barnsley this was a really well-planned event giving options of 15,20 & 27 miles. A good, quick route for runners but with plenty of sections to test your navigational skills. The glorious weather was a bonus.
Cakes, butties, biscuits and drinks en-route, and pie and peas at the finish. The Market Hotel proved a perfect venue and the Heritage Centre really warrants a return visit - as does the whole area. Thanks Frank, and all your helpers for a great day out. (Garfield)
