CAPABILITY WALKERS: PLEASE OVERVIEW YOUR BOOTS
In response to the notice on the Village Hall door entrants in the Sledmere walk of Sunday May 17th kindly left their muddy walking boots and shoes in the entrance hall. So now we have the Sledmere boots mystery. One entrant couldn’t find his and went back to his car in his socks, leaving his details at the check-in. Then when we came to clear up there were two pairs of boots and a rucksack (since collected) left behind. The boots are with Adrian Robson at the Estate House in Sledmere.
