Hello Catherine,

Please accept my apologies for not replying sooner, and thank you.

My friends intend doing the walk this coming July I believe, and have managed to recruite a friend who is fairly familiar with most of the route.

Hi John,

The Cotswold Way is a National Trail and therefore really well waymarked so that you probably could manage without a map (not that I would advocate that of course). You would have to try hard to get lost, although my sister would point out from bitter experience that you do have to set off in the correct direction when starting from half-way along the route!

As for events, the Cotswold Challenge covers a decent section south of Birdlip and takes place in September.
