Many thanks to Peter Schick and Ken Falconer who were on duty for most of the weekend inputting and debugging over 8000 checkpoint times. Those of us who enjoy analysing the results can now settle down and pick them apart. One or two statistics to set the ball rolling.

The completion rate of 76.7% (375 finishers from 489 starters) has only been exceeded in the last ten years by the 97 Downsman and the Chiltern Hundred in 2005, both over 80%. No doubt the completion rate would have been similar to these but for the windy conditions.

There were 126 starters who had not previously completed a Hundred, and 87 of these were successful. It is believed that this is the highest number of first-timers to complete a Hundred.

Fourteen people started the event having completed nine Hundreds, including Hannah Brown on the Marshals walk, and all were successful. That Ten Hundreds badge is a powerful incentive! Barrie Morgan squeezed in on 47 hours 59 minutes to claim his.
