Yes but it has been real mild and i really don`t think the winter has been at all bad, after all the mud is a great form of resistance training, talking of which there should be plenty on sunday (mud that is)

Rumours that Cumbria has floated into the Irish sea are only just an exaggeration. Statistics from a weather station in Windermere show that in the 3 weeks since Christmas 12 inches of rain fell, with only 3 days without measurable rainfall. The sun was seen on only 3 days for a grand total of 3 hours.
On Thursday snow is expected with heavy rain and gales on Friday and Saturday. The good news is that it is forecast to be brighter on Sunday and there may even be some sunshine for That's Lyth!
