Thoroughly enjoyed this event as usual. It was especially good because it was Vaughan's birthday - what better way to spend it in the company of our fellow running and walking friends.
Many thanks to all the organisers, marshalls and helpers. It was also great to have representatives of the charities present. I was even persuaded to buy a BHF t-shirt!

Not an LDWA event, but 3rd time I have completed this event and have always enjoyed it. Good atmosphere, and a great send off by the town crier, and a lovely, scenic route which is quite challenging and takes you up to the highest point in Leicestershire, but as well as the hills it incorporates wooded areas, and bradgate park so keeps the monotony at bay. Great soup at the end, and nice sandwiches half way round with hot drinks at most checkpoints. Also runner friendly, and in aid of a very good cause. Well done
