Just to clarify, the Black Pear 50 is not accepted as a qualifier since there is no verification of completions - it essentially consists of the organisers sending entrants a route description and leaving them to get on with it. There are only two 'Anytime' events which count as qualifiers (Spring in Lakeland and Cotswold Ring) and the time frames for both of those have now passed, so for anyone who doesn't already have a qualifier the only remaining options are standard format events.

We have updated the list of qualifiers as we've received further information, but I doubt anyone is going to announce further ones now so the list currently on the website can be taken as final.

In relation to the Anytime events that could act as qualifiers, in answer to Ian's question, I guess the answer is that the organiser would liaise with the 100 coordinator and terms of reference for evidence required would be agreed. Then entrants can enter with confidence that they can prove that they completed the required distance.

A system similar to Y 100 Sir Fynwy would suffice.

Wilts also have a one off 50 in October for the 50th, which I assume will count

A list of qualifiers for the EBB 100 can be found on the link below

It could do with updating : there's these too but are not on the list , both organised by LDWA groups : the Roundhay would certainly be a qualifier but you'd have to check for the Black Pear as it's an Anytime :

Black Pear 52 Anytime from Hagley near Kidderminster https://ldwa.org.uk/challenge_events/show_event.php?event_id=26536
(not sure how you'd validate a 50 Anytime completion as a qualifier but there are some already on the list) .

Roundhay 50 Event 18/19 Feb from Roundhay near Leeds https://ldwa.org.uk/challenge_events/show_event.php?event_id=27047

Also the non LDWA organised Shropshire Way 80 Km from Craven Arms was a TP100 qualifier so I would imagine the 2023 staging on 01/02 April would be an EBB 100 qualifier too

Ben there are quite a few coming up . there is a Cotswold ring anytime challenge for £10 until the end of july if you get a ticket and some receipts for proof. if you go onto the 100 webpage and click onto the Elephant and Bear you can click onto all the Qualifying event list.

Hi

I'm booked on the Afoot in Two Dales this weekend but currently have Covid - whilst I'm hoping to be over it, I'm beginning to worry about getting a qualifier in before the 2023 Hundred if I do have to miss out. Which other qualifiers are people thinking of doing, which haven't happened yet?

Ben
