The South Wales LDWA Group help its AGM on 31.10.21 and during that AGM made a decision to partner with the Chepstow Walking Festival that is run by Chepstow Walkers Are Welcome. The festival is to be held from 21-24 April 2022 and the South Wales LDWA Group is hosting Offa's Twisted Wye Kanter and this event will bring the weekend's festival to a conclusion.
This is a challenge walk with a difference. There are no checkpoints and entrants can choose to walk one of four routes; 12 / 15 / 22 / 25 miles. Route descriptions and GPX files will be provided and entrants visit a number of locations and solve the clues that are provided. The clues are never onerous and an example at a specific location might be to answer how many miles a signpost says it is to a certain location.
The South Wales LDWA Group catering team is revved up and ready to go and entrants will receive a breakfast prior to the start and a substantial meal on return to the Walk HQ.
