It seems certain now that soon Wainwrights Coast to Coast will be the 20th National Trail and sometime fairly soon it wil be a requirement for the Daimond certificate.
The date wil be decided by the LDWA committee.
It is a wonderful walk and worth doing irrespective of the register, but if you want yourDiamond certificate without doing this trail you need to get a move on!
Covid has slowed down claims for the register but I am getting a trickle though.
