Answers or replies should follow on from a statement or question - not the other way round.

This is a sensible idea, but it also useful to see the posting which instigated the topic first. I am collating some new ideas for Version 2 of the website - see the posting elsewhere. This suggestion has been added. Thanks, Garfield

It makes more sense to have the latest posting at the top of the thread.

Yes I am being stupid - please ignore the previous post.

Am I being stupid, or has no one else noticed the order of posting within a topic. They are ordered by date, with the latest at the top, but multiple posts on a single date are in reverse order (latest time at the bottom). This means you cannot follow a single thread by reading down or up, you must zig-zag your way from the bottom, checking the date and time of each as you go. Check the four post below this one. Clearly a need for change.

Topic hasn't come up in committee as far as I know - but that doesn't mean it isn't being considered. I think, though, that efforts (and funds) are being concentrated at the moment on developing the LDPs side of the web.

Has the suggestion for having the latest news item at the top been considered please?

I am certainly pleased to see the most recently responded to topic at the top of the list and I'd agree to the latest news being at the top but not the latest reply in a thread.

It’s good to see that the most recent topic, or the one with the most recent reply, is listed at the top within a forum. Would it be possible to list the most recent reply at the top within the topic itself please? I know it’s easy to use ctrl-end to whizz to the bottom, I’m just being lazy. Also, would it be possible to list the most recent news item at the top please?
