An Opportunity Beckons For A LDWA Member Who Loves The 100. Read on!

A vacancy has arisen on Trans Pennine 100. The role is that of the Entries Secretary and can be undertaken remotely from anywhere in the UK. The 100 mile main event is online entry only and the Trans Pennine 100 committee wish to use SI Entries to coordinate the Entries. Any willing volunteer would preferably have knowledge of SI and Excel. SI is very easy to use and help can be provided if knowledge is scant.
The role would involve checking that applicants have completed the qualifying event they are declaring, sort the entries alphabetically on surname, liaise with the 100 recorder and collate the paperwork for registration at the event itself.
The event will take place during the weekend of 29-31 May 2021 and whilst the majority of the role can be undertaken remotely, there would be an expectation that the volunteer would commit themselves to attending the event. The volunteer could also update the committee on the work undertaken either in person or by email.
If you think you would like to get involved with Trans Pennine 100, please contact the Chair, Aaron Hookway at:
