Jeff, this is a lovely walk with several distance options, to suit different people. Amazingly extensive views from the downs. Bluebells. Friitillaries. Birdsong [we heard a cuckoo twice, amongst others]. Clear chalk streams. Nature reserves. Well supported, friendly marshals and varied food, plus a meal at the end. What's not to like?

Wilts LDWA puts it on every year. Well worth your travelling down.
