The point is that the tally is an important safety feature and loss would not allow you to go on past the next checkpoint. There will be other information on the tally so keep it safe.

Yes of course, and it is always possible to enter the emergency number yourself in the footer of the RD, if you think your tally might blow away or you do not have a phone...

The Emergency Telephone number is 07379 616005.

This was part of the Final Instructions sent out recently to all entrants with advice to put it on mobile phones immediately.

As Bill says it is also on the Tally card.

The emergency phone number is printed on the Tally Card that you will need to carry with you in order to register at each checkpoint

Why is the Emergency Telephone Number not shown anywhere in the Route Description?

In previous Hundreds, such as the Dorset 100 and the Cinque Ports 100, the Emergency Number was shown at the foot of each and every page.

Please follow their positive approach to safety on your Hundred.

Thanks firstly to Ian from North Yorkshire as I had posted this message on another thread which should be a new post .
Just to remind , all those who are coming to undertake the Hadrian hundred in our wonderful countryside can you read the article on page 4 in the Strider about hazards to be mindful of on the route. Those who are going on the marshals walk the start will not apply to you nor those who are starting after 10am on the main event. Also there is a typo in the strider article and should cover that the South Tyneside trail is also used by cyclists so keep an eye out for cyclists.
