Calling all LDWA geographical groups.

On 23-25 May 2020, Y 100 Sir Fynwy will be held. The 100 will be based at the Norman town of Chepstow and is following a clockwise route around the county of Monmouthshire with a brief foray into Herefordshire.

Whilst some local geographical groups have already volunteered their services for the weekend, we still have plenty of checkpoints still to staff.

We would be enormously grateful if our LDWA colleagues would be willing to run some of our checkpoints. The vast majority will be covered with only three being tented / in a barn.

If your LDWA group is able to support the South Wales LDWA host the annual 100, we would be grateful if you could contact our checkpoint co-ordinator, Shirley Hume. Her mail address is: thehumes10@gmail.com

Finally, the marshals' walk will be held during the weekend of 2-4 May 2020. If any individuals are willing and able to help during this weekend, then please would you make contact with Alwyn Nixon: aanixons@gmail.com

Please remember. If you help on the marshals' walk then you will be entitled to enter the main event at the marshals' walk rate. This was agreed in 2017 and first comes into effect on the Cinque Ports 100.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Regards,
David Morgan
