The Waiting List has now reached 70 prospective entrants and we cannot accept anymore. We reluctantly have had to return postal entrants over the past few days and will continue to do so for any further entries.

The event reached the maximum limit of 400 entrants about six weeks ago. Sportident entries were closed down then but postal entries remained open in the hope of enticing more walking entrants who often enter that way.Postal entries received since the closure date have gone on to a waiting list now numbering 46 with a limit of 70. We expect to have sufficient withdrawals and no shows to ensure all those on the waiting list receive a start.
Definitely no entries on the day.

Entries for The Hebden opened on 1st August, the same date as last year. Entries to date number 290 whereas last year on the same date they were 108. We shall probably be full in another 2/3 weeks when the waiting list will start. This will be 5/6 weeks earlier than last year. The event is organised by LDWA members for LDWA walkers.
