Morning all,
I am going on holiday the first week in June and staying in a small village in the mountains about 10 miles north of Malaga. I have stayed in the area before and always fancied walking up one of the high summits of the Sierras. So has anyone been up 'La Maroma' part of the “Sierra de Tejeda” range. If so,

How hard is the ascent?
How long does it take, there and back?
Where did you start and finish?
Is there any local maps that can be download or purchased?
What would it feel like in June (no jokes please!!!!!) i assume it will be hot but at the top what are the conditions like?
Are there any facilities in case of emergencies i.e shelter, refuge.
Anything else you think would be useful to know.

Any replies would be gratefully accepted.
Regards Gerard Maguire
