Great event superb scenery- We entered the 35 mile option knowing that it was going to be
tough to finish in 11 hours. In the event we finish just outside the time limit but were treated very kindly
by the sweeper and the staff back at HQ. Could I suggest the idea of a slightly earlier start for the 35 milers
to give at least 12 hours- Not everyone in the LDWA can manage a 4 mph average.

Many thanks to all those involved in this event. I missed last year due to knee surgery. My goal was to recover in time to do the 2012 26miler. Thanks in no small way to the encouragement of those I met along the way, delicious cakes, the wonderful scenary and the bright sunshine, I not only finished but beat my personal best for this route! Meanwhile, Mark thoroughly enjoyed the shorter route for similar reasons. I believe Wilts were one of the first groups to introduce shorter options and it works so well for us as a couple. So A BIG THANK YOU! Carol
