Hi Matthew, glad you think walking 1038 miles (WCP861 plus ODNT177) is fun. Do let us know how you get on. Any idea how long it might take? Best Wishes and Good Luck. John

850ish, I think. We've done the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion sections + much of Llyn peninsula, but all in bits. Would like to try and crack the whole lot in one bash sometime, ideally with tent. And then follow round the Offas Dyke path back to the start again would be fun (depending on your idea of fun!).

Excellent, have been keping an eye out for this as it's due to open in May (I think). Planning to try the whole route now I have the time, though it may be 2013 before I start. Should be a fine challenge. Matt.

Hi all the CCW have now posted provisional maps for the new Wales Coast Path.

Ideal for planning

They are in PDF format and divided up into 8 sections
