After finding I had no neutral polish/cream to polish and condition my fashion boots I turned to my vaseline with cocoa butter that I had just used on my lips and nails and thought maybe? Well it brought up the shine splendid and removed the scratches. And maybe it will prove waterproof ? Just a tiny bit needed and far cheaper than the usual and Nickwax. See if a leatherwork person on the forum agrees?

Ran them throught the tap and seem OK. See if tomorrows deluge works out.
