Congratulations. That is an impressive hike. Have you put your experiences on a website, blog or whatever?

I completed this walk at the end of May. I followed Andy Robinson's book (The End to End Trail) as far as Fort William and then switched to the Cape Wrath Trail. I was fortunate to have the most spectacular weather for the last part of the Cape Wrath Trail and camped wild most nights. For anyone who is thinking of doing the Cape Wrath Trail, I'd say the biggest problem is food. I mailed food parcels ahead to three different hotels but even so found myself having to carry 6-7 days supplies at one point. Great experience though.

I am planning to walk from St Ives to Cape Wrath this spring.
The route given by Andy Robinson in his book: End to End Trail
seems good but I am also considering walking east from Wadebridge,
across Dartmoor and then picking up the Andy Robinson route at Bridgwater.
I'd be interested in views and opinions about either option.

I am hoping to switch to the North to the Cape path for the final leg of
my journey.

Thanks (in advance),
David Wilson
