With someone who reckoned it was around 3500ft ascent but with all sliding in the mud it must have been nearer 4000ft. Tough route. The home baking up to its usual excellent standards.

very enjoyable even with all the mud, makes a change from snow and ice
what i would like to ask is does anyone know the ascent? anyone use a gps on the route able to tell me the ascent we did
