I recently purchased this and, with due respect, I just wondered what the point of it was?

It lists numerous paths, their start and finish points and a basic description.

How are you to find the route?

Does anyone use this book for a specific purpose? Is it just to "tick off" the walks you've done?

Maybe I'm missing the point but I think the internet made this book redundant a long time ago!
