(10.5 miles. Start 10.00 from Knott End car park near Knott End golf club FY6 0AA.
There are toilets at the car park. There are many stiles on the first part of the walk, in various states of disrepair where care must be taken. No livestock encountered on the walk recce, so should be ok for dogs on a lead, providing the stiles can be negoiatate.
Walk heads to Pilling Sands along the sea wall, then along tracks and footpaths to the “hill” at Preesall before heading to the Wyre estuary path back to Knott End.
Café opportunities in Knott End; bakery sandwiches and cakes highly recommended!)
