Start Spring Wood Car Park, Whalley, just off the A671, opposite the junction with Accrington Road. The postcode is BB7 9UE, but this will likely take you to a residential road off Accrington Road, rather than the car park. Charge 1pound all day, card only. Toilets available

A circular walk from Whalley out to Dean Clough Reservoir and back. Lunch stop about half way by the Reservoir. Brew and ice cream stop at 9 miles at Whalley Abbey Cafe
