Walk the east shore of St Mary's Loch until it reaches the A708, then follow the track on the other side of the Loch until it reaches the minor road up toward Megget Reservoir. Below the dam, at Glenagaber, follow the track up over Gool Knowe and on over Shielhope Hill and descend beside Chapelhope Burn. From there it is around the east shore of the Loch of the Lowes and back to the car park
