Although there is a rail strike, there is a bus service Breezer 40 which provides a suitable alternative. The start of the Saturday walk will be delayed to 09:10 to allow walkers to park their car in Wareham and catch the 08:37 bus from Wareham Rail Station to Poole Rail Station (arrives 09:07).

Route

Poole, west side of railway station, by entrance to Asda car park. This is a linear walk finishing at Wareham railway station. Car drivers may prefer to park near Wareham station and catch the train to Poole for the start. Trains every 30 mins, 5 pounds 20p. See Stop Press for updated details due to the proposed rail strike

Please bring lunch, snacks and plenty of drink. This is part of the 50 miles in a weekend event but people can choose to join 1, 2 or all 3 walks
