Please note this walk will have a West Lancs dogs on short leads at all times policy. Day 5 Stages 10 to 13. Edenfield, GR 800 182, to Haslingden Grane, GR 752 231, 20 miles, 8 hours walking, 3,197 ft ascent. Another hard day with several climbs. Meet at 9am at the Haslingden Grane car park just off the main Grane Road B6232, BB4 4AU, GR 754 228. Take some of the cars to Edenfield. Park on the main road, A56, by the Duckworth Arms, BL0 0EG. At the end of the day retrieve the cars left at Edenfield, 10 minutes drive, 6 miles. The day begins with a climb up to the Peel Tower via the Stubbins Estate and then on to the Pilgrim’s Cross. The second half of the day is a very pretty walk and takes in Edgworth, Turton Towers, Cheetham Close, the Entwistle Reservoir and then its over to Hog Lowe Pike and then a descent in to Haslingden Grane
